Camping

Welcome to the camper van area in Fuglafjørður. The site is also the parking area for the Culture House, situated between the beach and the marina. There is no area for tents, as it is all tarmac. This area may be a bit noisy on the weekends, as this is a lively town. There are regularly concerts at the Culture House and live music at the bar, Etasjan. You are of course welcome to attend our events.

It is possible to book and pay for camping online, but only from 14 days before. In the calendar below, you will see how many spaces are left. Some days, it may look like there are spaces left, but booking will not be possible, because the area will be used for other purposes, or because those who have booked will arrive later.

Campers have access to toilets and shower and a small kitchenette inside the Culture House, through the door on the opposite side of the building, marked with a ‘Camping’ sign on the door. When you book online, you will get a confirmation with a code for the key box next to this door, where you may collect a keycard to use during your stay. Please return the keycard in the little black box on the wall inside the entrance before you leave. The key box allows you to check in and check out when it suits you.

It is also possible to pay for your stay at the Tourist Information Office inside Ribarhús further up the street. Our opening hours are Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 10 – 16.

We hope you’ll enjoy your stay and our small town. If you have any questions, you are welcome to visit the Tourist Information Office in Ribarhús – the old black house further up the main road. There is also a handicraft shop, a gallery and a small coffee shop.
